Constraint:

  • Limited screen real estate.

    General Strategies:

  • No duplicates between menus and toolbar.
  • Consolidate menus.
  • Only frequently used items accessible from toolbar.

    Key Decisions:

  • Remove the infrequently used forward arrow from the toolbar.
  • Have the refresh button and stop button share the same real estate, as they are never both actionable at the same time.
